I'm not entirely 100% in love with my fabrics, so don't be surprised if they change. I was hoping to pick up the fat quarters at JoAnn's today, but my local one didn't have any single ones (which were supposed to be on sale) - so I grabbed a pack of 5 (bottom of picture) and stole 4 cuts out of my stash. I think some of the fat quarters are a little dark for the brighter colors in my stash. Didn't have time on my lunch break to wait in the gimundo line at the cutting table to get anything else.
I bet you'll love it when it's done. I get fabric all the time that I don't love, but then when my project is done, I am in heaven! :) You're a brave soul. I need to make a quilt... I am just scared. lol
ReplyDeleteOoh, I especially think the hearts and stars prints are cute! I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Oh, and you can always change a few of the fabrics part of the way through, you'll get more details with the cutting post this coming week!
ReplyDeleteI like the hearts and stars too! I actually bought this exact same print awhile ago - pink, purple, and blue. I made a bean bag out of it. :) I'm looking forward to this quilt along!
